On This Day...

On this day one year ago, a half-Polish, loud, bike-riding, ex-fencing Aussie girl started a blog, and the first post is here.

A year has gone quite quickly to say the least. But rather than reflecting on what has gone (that's what the blog is for), I'm going to set some goals on what needs to happen, and what I want to happen.

I'd like to work away, namely in Sweden with the company I'm with already. I did an engineering degree to be an engineer. I'm not really doing that right now...

I need to be a better friend, and a better daughter. I don't spend enough time with my family and friends.

I'd like to get back into shape. Yes, round is a shape. But I want to be fit. I want to fit in the stuff I bought a year ago. At the moment, that's getting toit.

I'd like to play the piano and my guitars some more. I really don't spend enough time with music any more. I want to play the instruments I grew up with and spent hours upon hours a day on. Especially the piano. I'd like to think I didn't waste all these years...

I'd like to see more of Perth, more of Western Australia, more of Australia, more of the world.
There's so many spots even near my house that I'm only really discovering now. I've been living in Perth for over 18 years now, you'd think I would know the place a little better.
