It seems that I simply can't get enough track time... and that pretty much sums it up. I'm forever looking up the next track day or tuning session, just to get back out there. I'm even heading back to the drags as I haven't been in months and the season ends this May.
More info about the DRAG KINGS AND DRAG QUEENS edition of Whoop Ass Wednesday is HERE.
Anyway, back to the track... There were two full sessions in the dry out of about 8 or 9. We had a rotation of 15 minutes on, 30 minutes off. Tell ya what, we were rushed to have a piss and grab some food! I missed one session after lunch because a shower was passing through, luckily I did because about 3 laps into the session it started belting with rain. The rest of the day was wet but it only sprinkled. Unlucky for the Advanced group as they managed to cop all the rain for most of the day.
Superb photos by Dugy from Sunburnt Photography. Jeez he makes me look fast - mind you, I was booting through that left hander!
In other news, Savi (once again) managed to bin it, busting up his bike a little more than usual. He actually had some fairing damage this time. And the most unique brake lever I think I've ever seen.
Cheers to the crew (Dan, Dave, Lyle and Savi) that were up there, at least I had someone to bag out on me for riding like a girl! I had a blast, even in the rain and I'm looking forward to maybe doing my race licence...
