Dedication or Lunacy?

I don't know what came over me today, but I was compelled to actually do some work. Compared to flagging half a day yesterday because it was just too much...

I was on the phone with the technical managers, the training department and product managers trying to sort out some issues with a rig on the east coast. Damn I wish I wasn't doing two jobs, otherwise I'd be on the frontline with 'em. It's frustrating to see my previous projects stuggling in the field, and there's so much work for me right now, I can't get out there and help out. So there I was till nearly 7pm at work, unheard of. The sun had been down for over an hour, it was cool, all the doors were locked and most of the lights were off. I took the opportunity to crack some tunes, namely Mattafix and Björk, with some occasional homie shite. I cranked out $3.8Mil worth of orders; now that is dedication. Or Lunacy. I had finally managed to do my job without others annoying the shit out of me.

I did however find out that my new laptop and Blackberry are on the way soon :) Technology +++ and that there are new positions open in Sweden as a designer...



So like, its Wednesday. Why am I not at the drags? I think my season is as good as over. Not motivated, not interested. I will however be "working" on the bikes for next season. Maybe some selective gearing? Straps? Who knows. All I know is that it needs more speed.

It's another day closer to the weekend. Busting for it actually. Julz and I are heading out to Lancelin and Cervantes for mega-four-wheel-drive-fun-time! And hopefully some famous Cervantes crays for lunch. Mmmm. Oh, and must remember to take ear plugs to reduce the impact of snoring... *that means YOU Julz!*
