What's another hour here or there?

Good old Western Australia (WA: aka Wait Awhile) has FINALLY taken a quantum leap about 30 years into the present and introduced a three year trial of daylight saving. Thank f#ck for that. It's about bloody time too. I think its been about 14 years since it was last discussed/used???

Regardless, I enjoy the concept of actually waking up with the sun and it not being 05:30am, and writing my blog at 19:30pm and it still being quite light. It's fantastic. I know the poor cows in the paddock stepping all over my data cables will be confused, and my curtains will fade and I will get cancer from all the extra sun, *le sigh* but so be it.

Well, I digress. The bike (Paris) is in for a full service. Filters, oils, brake lines, plugs, carbie clean and tune - the works! I should have her back tomorrow or Wednesday. It's hard to spend the weekend without the old girl.

Ah yes, the weekend. Spent with old and new mates, buying motorbike gear, and getting drunk at the Paddo. Enjoying cigars in the most unlikely fashion and skulling Coronas whilst almost choking on lemon pips. Sushi was also on the cards and like I told Ryan, noone can out-eat me (except Travis - he's a sushi machine) and noone can out-sped me. *mleah!* And, I only deal in fifties ;)

Saturday was helmet shopping day with Julz, where we ended up doing a few laps of Victoria Park and going into various shops. We ended up at Dale Britton Motorcycles (who had currently received a serve on a local motorbike forum) and found the guys and girls there wonderful. Service was A1 and the price was just as good. Julz ended up with a new OGK lid and Alpinestars jacket. AWSE!!! Now get on yer bike and pass that test!

Friday night? Ah yes, I remember trying to get Leroy to dance (talk about Mission Impossible!), telling Jacob to faff off and generally enjoying the band Audioperv and drinking Coronas. Once the lights came on everyone was off to the Mustang bar. Um, no. Something about that place that I just. don't. like.

I'm still waiting on that suit of mine. Any day now..........!
