Hit the Ground Running

Well, its back into the swing of things for 2009. With two weeks off during the Christmas break, I found myself cleaning the house, getting things done and generally finishing things off around the place. I didn't really have much time to unwind as I generally see relaxing as a reason to sleep and be lazy. After a few days of that I get bored and sluggish.

NYE was spent at Hornet's house with a BBQ dinner, fireworks and a tasty BBQ breakfast the following morning followed by a swim at the beach.

I went back to work on January 5th, and last Friday I packed my stuff up and moved it all up the road to the "new Sales and Marketing Office". I'm glad we've moved. A change of scenery is awesome. We have windows in the kitchen, more natural light, coloured painted walls, and lots more room around our desks. I'd never thought I'd say this, but I actually enjoyed spending time in the office today. The other reason I liked work today was because I didn't actually have to do any! The servers are down and there is no internet.

Blogging has generally been slow as we didn't have the internet for a whole month (no thanks to iiNet and their severe lack of ports in the Victoria Park exchange) but I now have 3 mobile broadband and so far (only after a few hours) things seem to be going pretty well!

Robin and I have now been in our new place for over five weeks and things are awesome. We're eating well, training together, annoying each other, we go for rides and chill out. It's nice to find someone that's just... right.
