I managed to get Robin and Nath to help me out with installing them yesterday (I have no idea how to install this kinda stuff - being a Mechanical Engineer and all *sigh*). For about $375 (with a bottle of brake fluid) I had a new peg system. They feel great, although I'm getting my jeans caught on the connector for the gear selector lever... must look into that.

Ah eBay, you've done it again!
Well, about 3 months ago I started seriously thinking about getting rearsets for the R1. I looked at all the big brands, all the cheap brands, and generally got confused about it all. Realistically speaking, the R1 is not a race bike, nor was it intended to be. It is a road bike that I wanted to bling up a little more, so the next step was rearsets, black, shiny, adjustable. On Friday, eBay delivered me some TechG R1 rearsets for $360.48 to my door. Mintox.

Hmm, weather seems okay today... a ride perhaps?
