Red Bull Air Race

Got an email today from a mate reminding me that the Red Bull Air Race is coming to Perth for the first time ever this year. For the event that's supposed to be replacing the WRC, there hasn't been too much publicity, but it might still be a bit early in the year for that. Anyway, it should be a great event!

Paris Hilton turns 60!

My CBR400 fondly known as Paris Hilton has turned 60 (thousand).
Yep, 60,000km's are now on the clock which means she's well over half way to a rebuild. But with that, she's still powering on. These cool, fresh Perth mornings do wonders for the direct air intake and I'm sure the K&N air filter is doing its bit too. Might be worth doing another dyno test this winter to be able to compare the power difference between the two climate conditions.

Fourbies on the Fifth

I went fourby-ing yesterday with Julz in the Landcruiser and did "the powerlines" up Mundaring way. About 20 4x4's rocked up outside of Red Rooster near Roe Highway and then it was on for one and all. There were n00bs, the pros and the families. Heaps of people, and in all, a great time. The weather was brilliant and the scenery fantastic. Oh, and there was a cowboy ;)

End of Season 2005/2006

It was officially the end of the drag racing season for 2005/2006 on Wednesday, and due to a cold, I couldn't make the final meet.

It was a huge turnout, and too many people killed thier cars, or tried to take them to the beach at the end of the track.

Most people only got 4 passes which is pretty shit, but sounds like the night was eventful. No more until September 6, 2006!
